01 · Smart Trap installations
Fitted around the Smart Trap.
Fendix fixes directly to the underside of the slab, around the existing fitting. The Smart Trap and pipework stay in place.
Application brief 04
A small fitting shouldn’t mean a bulky bulkhead.
Smart Traps and dry floor waste fittings can leave an awkward fire-stopping detail beneath the slab. Fendix fits around supported configurations, keeping the solution compact and the pipework in place.

Fitting reference
The Smart Elbow’s wider body can make a conventional circular collar difficult to fit, especially close to the slab.
For supported configurations, Fendix’s open U-shape fits around the fitting with a collar body just 20 mm deep. A slimline solution without reworking the pipework or adding a bulky enclosure.
Send us a photo of the fitting and the pipe size. We’ll help you match the installation to the supported configuration in RTL FA 2981.03.
